KIPP Charlotte - Transportation Portal

This portal is only for students who have been ACCEPTED at KIPP Charlotte Charter School for the 2022-23 school year and wish to use the service on a regular basis. KIPP Charlotte partners with Eagle Bus Service to provide convenient cluster meeting points.  We do not provide door-to-door service. Cluster meeting points are preferable because they minimize the time students spend on the bus and the pick-up and drop-off times are consistent each day. Such reliability is never guaranteed with door-to-door service. Students are to use the cluster stop chosen by their parents. Bus drivers are not to allow students to use any bus stop they please.  Consistency by the students in the bus stops they use will help the driver to keep track of the students. Students may use one stop in the morning and a different stop in the afternoon, provided they are consistent and don’t change.

MASKS OPTIONAL

MASK POLICY

The safety, health and well-being of our students, staff, families and community is a top priority.  We continue to monitor local CMS policies and follow the guidance of the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services as shared in the StrongSchoolsNC Toolkit.

Please Note the following update to our mask policy. We will follow CMS guidelines which is reported as follows:

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) officials say masks will be optional on school buses and all school transportation starting March 7, 2022.  The Board will also continue to review the mask policy at least once each month, as required by state law.

Any student rider or staff member of Eagle Bus Service is encouraged to wear a mask while on the bus. This just means it is no longer mandatory to do so.

IN-SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS MAY BE DIFFERENT.  IF SO, SCHOOL RULES OVERRIDE EAGLE BUS.
